I should say that I have many interests, and that the descriptions below are just a small sampling, which I ripped off from my previous site. I'll add more later.

Second Life

Second Life is an amazing, and expansive virtual world where users can create anything their imaginations can dream up, own property, and interact with one another. The educational possibilities are almost endless. I am specifically interested in how Second Life can be used to model new real life educational models for educators.

Starting in May, I will begin teaching an online course on Second Life for Educators.

The myomet.com web site is designed to develop community among the graduates, current students and prospective students of the online Master of Arts in Educational Technology Program at Pepperdine University. I am spearheading the development of this site, which is long overdue for a redesign.

Moodle

Moodle is a course management system and online learning software that is open source, free, and designed around sound learning principles. I use Moodle, and also do a fair amount of consulting and training in the area.
